[00:01:06] the signs of the times. We will be studying what the Bible teaches about common events.

[00:05:46] Hello. Hello, good evening, Alder de Carlo. We are live in the voice of the wilderness in
[00:05:52] Tinnitus Radio. How are you this evening, Alder de Carlo?
[00:05:56] Fine, thank you. Praise the Lord, glad to hear so. And sister Judy, how is she?
[00:06:02] I choose doing well, thank you very much. Praise the Lord.
[00:06:06] Well, tonight we will begin the first of a free part series looking at the signs of the times that
[00:06:12] are live in in. We are using the Bible as the basis for this series.
[00:06:18] This is in August, 2023, Alder de Carlo and I looked at Matthew 24 verses 7 to 10
[00:06:25] where Jesus mentions that nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom
[00:06:31] and there shall be families and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.
[00:06:37] As we studied the scriptures and historical present events, we discussed that the church is primarily
[00:06:44] to blame for the spread of evil in this world. This is the unfaithful church.
[00:06:49] The church and individuals of in the church have not faithfully fulfilled their duty
[00:06:54] to be a false or good and counteract the wickedness of men. We also discussed how the nature of
[00:07:01] his changed where it not only includes countries fighting one another but also a clash of
[00:07:08] ideologies and concepts and ideas. This is the reason we pray that these radio broadcasts
[00:07:15] will not only be a means of clarifying certain issues that may be at the back of your mind
[00:07:21] wondering why they are happening, who is behind them and when they are going to end.
[00:07:28] We pray that these radio broadcasts will strengthen your faith in God's Word as the only reliable
[00:07:34] source of news and strength that they will help you to prepare to meet Jesus at the second
[00:07:39] coming in peace. So, out of the car door shall we open our discussion this evening with a word of
[00:07:46] prayer? Absolutely. How far in heaven we want to again thank you for the privilege and opportunity
[00:07:53] we have to share our faith. We ask then Jesus' name that you will come and take our hearts and
[00:07:59] forgive us where we have let you down. We pray that you'll help us to realize that we do have a
[00:08:05] friend in Jesus who ever lives to make an assertion and our behave. Help us to remember your loving
[00:08:12] kindness and you're always watching over us. In this uncertain times in which we live and the confusion
[00:08:20] of the masses that exist. When we look and see the things that are taking place around us and economic
[00:08:26] chaos and political disruption and the wars and the disasters that are happening all around,
[00:08:35] we pray your Lord that you will open our eyes to see the truth as it is in Jesus and help us
[00:08:40] to realize dear God that soon your son is coming back and I pray that you are blessed each and
[00:08:47] every one of us who are listening here today to understand that we must get ready before it's too late.

[00:09:07] First of all, listeners, where do we find this subject the signs and the times? Where does it originate
[00:09:13] from? We read in the book of Matthew chapter 16 and verses 1 to 3. The Pharisees also with the
[00:09:20] Sodassus came and tempting desire in him that he would show them a sign from heaven.
[00:09:26] This is Jesus there was stick at the tempt. He, this is Jesus answered and said unto them,
[00:09:32] when it is even in you say it will be fair weather for the sky is red and in the morning it will
[00:09:43] all you hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky. Or can you not discern the signs of the
[00:09:49] times and so we see from the Bible that the signs are the times it's a subject that comes from
[00:09:55] Jesus himself. It is a subject of heavenly origin. So Elderly Cardo, looking at the events that
[00:10:04] are commonly happening in this world at this time and the signs of the times that are around us
[00:10:09] events such as the riots against illegal immigration in the United Kingdom,
[00:10:14] attempted assassination upon President Trump in the United States as well as the continual
[00:10:20] push to promote alternative lifestyles that ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine,
[00:10:26] the rise of artificial intelligence. Where does the professor Christian church stand in all of this?
[00:10:33] The world is fragmented but soul is also the church fragmented many people say.
[00:10:38] When we last study the signs of the times, we learn that as the church becomes demoralized
[00:10:44] so does the world become demoralized. Yes. There's so much we can talk about but there's one who
[00:10:50] keenly watches the signs at the times it will const what the Bible teaches. That is here what
[00:10:56] you're opening thoughts on about these things, Elder. Well, John, you know, as we have talked about
[00:11:03] this issue as you said in the past but on many occasions we have said and talked about
[00:11:10] what God has prophesied regarding these very important issues. Look, I want to speak very
[00:11:17] frankly to the people. I want them to understand that we are in a period of time
[00:11:27] unlike any other part in the history of mankind. Now there have always been troubleist times
[00:11:33] throughout history. You've always had political corruption and there's been wars and rumors of wars.
[00:11:42] There's been immorality. There's been economic chaos and we could go down the various
[00:11:50] characteristics that are so prominent in the prophecies regarding the last days.
[00:11:59] The real critical issue is how do we know we're in those last days? In other words, when you look
[00:12:05] at these things, how do we sit there and understand the impact of what we are witnessing?
[00:12:14] Now what I want to do is just and we're going to just do an overview because there's no way
[00:12:18] in which we could possibly spend the quality of the time it would just be too much.
[00:12:23] But I do want to want to do a show people and with such a clear manner we are living
[00:12:33] in the last days of our history. This is irrefutable. There's no way in which anyone
[00:12:40] composite in this can prove these things. Now in Bible prophecy, you will find
[00:12:49] either a prophecy itself or perhaps maybe particular verses with in a chapter when a prophet is
[00:12:58] indicating something's happening that has a specific intent for a period of time, such as in the
[00:13:06] last days. Sometimes you will have an entire prophecy that's clearly specified what's going to
[00:13:16] happen not only in the last days, but perhaps even who will be involved. There are then
[00:13:23] prophecies that deal with particular events in a sequence of order, their chronological order
[00:13:32] of events that leads you from one period of time in the history of mankind and leads you all the way
[00:13:39] to the end of time or the second comment of Jesus. So you find these things throughout
[00:13:47] prophecy. Now I want to just mention four and again we're not going to go through the all the
[00:13:54] details, it's just way too much but I do want to give a little heads up. And then you'll
[00:13:59] chapter two for example when you look at Daniel 2 this is a prophecy that indicates very clearly
[00:14:07] a sequence of events placed in chronological order which is very very clear and precise in the
[00:14:15] manner in which it is given. In other words there's no way in which anyone could possibly
[00:14:20] misunderstand not only the subject matter but also the chronological sequence. There's just no way
[00:14:28] so for example when you look at this vision that was given by God 2 Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel
[00:14:34] gave the interpretation of it to him. He talks about that he saw this Nebuchadnezzar saw an image
[00:14:41] of a man who had was of gold, his breast and arms were of silver, his belly and thighs were
[00:14:49] brass legs of iron and his feet were made of iron and clay and then he saw a stone cut out without hands
[00:14:56] and this stone came and smoked the image of it's feet and from among that arose up a great
[00:15:05] great mountain which is represented of a kingdom. And so here comes this kingdom out of the ashes
[00:15:13] of the previous kingdoms that fell and disappeared under the weight and might of this rock
[00:15:22] that came and smoked it. So what happens is this depicts an image of what is to be and
[00:15:30] Daniel even tells Nebuchadnezzar eventually how you can pinpoint the beginning of the
[00:15:38] sequence of events by stating you Nebuchadnezzar you are the head of gold. In other words this
[00:15:44] is symbolic so if Babylon represents the head of gold then the breast and arms of silver must
[00:15:51] mean another kingdom would come after Babylon. So if you just start working your way down chronologically
[00:15:58] based on the prophecy and the historical events that fulfilled these these characteristics.
[00:16:04] So if you look at it from a chronological standpoint you have Babylon mid-a-perjure
[00:16:09] then you have the belly and thighs of brassage which is Greece the legs of iron which is
[00:16:14] Rome pagan rum of course and the feet in iron of clay representing the destruction of the western
[00:16:22] Roman Empire by the Germanic tribes that would divide the kingdom in the west up to 10 kingdoms.
[00:16:29] It also clearly indicates the indication of the metal and the clay representing church in state
[00:16:37] how that they will attempt to unite these things that God has never said that we should put them
[00:16:44] in a unity it's called an unholy alliance or as revelation actually depicts it as
[00:16:52] fornication and immoral act against God. So if we look at these chronological sequence so here
[00:16:59] we are in Babylon 606-538 BC then we go down to the breast and arms of silver 538-331
[00:17:07] BC then we go down to the belly and thighs of brass representing Greece from 331-168 BC
[00:17:14] we then go to the pagan emperor by the legs of iron from 168 BC all the way to AD 476
[00:17:21] again we're talking about the western part of the Roman empire and then you look at the iron
[00:17:26] in clay and then from 476 AD you're looking all the way down from that point to the last days
[00:17:34] and the next event is the stone coming cut out without hands and is going to come and smash
[00:17:41] the image on its feet and the all earthly kingdoms and establishing a eternal kingdom that will never end
[00:17:51] which is the eternal kingdom of God has depicted clearly in scripture. So if you look at that
[00:17:57] chronological sequence and we know clearly the impact of this prophecy we now know in
[00:18:06] fathically that we are down in the toes of the iron in the clay so we know just from Daniel
[00:18:15] to alone even if I were to never mention the other three prophecies and for that matter
[00:18:19] if I never mentioned any other prophecy we now know in fathically we are living in the last days of
[00:18:25] history. So the next event then that we can anticipate based on the accuracy of Daniel chapter 2
[00:18:33] is the second coming to the Lord Jesus Christ. So here we have Daniel 2 now this becomes the Bench
[00:18:40] Mark Tom which you now anchor yourself in the sequence of events that would transpire the lead us
[00:18:45] all the way up to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. We now know we are living in the final moments
[00:18:52] of our history. Now the next prophecy again we're just going to quickly go through and I recommend
[00:18:57] by our listeners to go back and read these prophecies and I would highly recommend you look at a book
[00:19:06] called Daniel Revelation by Erius Smith these prophecies are in there and very nicely
[00:19:15] commented upon you can get more information along the way. The next prophecy we want to look at
[00:19:21] is in book of Revelation this of course is in chapters 2 and 3 this is talking about the seven
[00:19:27] churches. Now once again you look at these seven churches and when you look at the seven churches
[00:19:32] we now know what it really means is seven time periods indicating the seven ages of the church
[00:19:39] meaning the Christian church and again we're not talking about the Jewish church in the
[00:19:44] covenant with Abraham and so forth we're talking about the Christian church that began
[00:19:50] with the church of Ephesus as indicated in the prophecy and we know the chronological period.
[00:19:56] Now once again I want to say before I go any further these dates that I'm given to you
[00:20:04] there you might have some various there may be a variation of a year here or there
[00:20:13] but basically this is the general period so you know as I say if you feel that maybe the
[00:20:21] date should be modified slightly here and there find but the general period cannot change
[00:20:27] and the sequence of the order cannot change. So this is very clear so when you start to look
[00:20:33] for example you have the church of Ephesus then you have Smyrna then you have Purgamous
[00:20:37] then Thiretire then you have Sardis you have Philadelphia and finally we have come to the church
[00:20:42] of Leia to see it. So if you look at the seven time periods of the Christian era we know
[00:20:49] based on these characteristics given within the prophecies for example we know Ephesus
[00:20:54] starts from 8031 all the way to 100 now some people will like to say not just when I illustrate
[00:20:59] my point of the variations of the time period but the general principle stays the same
[00:21:06] some indicate that the church of Ephesus perhaps should start in 27 the baptism of Jesus some
[00:21:14] say it should be in 34 the stony and of Stephen and so forth. Now look I'm not going to make a big
[00:21:20] issue out of that I'm not going to argue over those things if that's how you want to indicate that
[00:21:26] that's fine again the one thing that we can all agree upon it represents the apostolic age
[00:21:33] that first century so if we can understand that based on the evidence we're we're in good shape.
[00:21:40] So here we find from 8031 all the way to 100 this is the period time period time frame of the
[00:21:46] church of Ephesus. So from that point once again you have a lynch pin so now you have a corner
[00:21:52] stone that you can build something on it's something that's critical so we now know Smyrna must come
[00:21:57] after the first century so we would have so we have Smyrna from a D 100 to all the way to 3 23. So
[00:22:05] there's the church of Smyrna then you come to Purgamous and again the characteristics and all
[00:22:11] the identify marks and keep it in context of the order in which they're given we now know that
[00:22:17] the church of Purgamous must be a D 3 23 to 538. Fire a Tira comes right after from 538 to 1517
[00:22:27] again of course if T 17 being Martin Luther and Ellen the 95 thesis and so forth. So if you look at that
[00:22:34] and the great protest of Martin Luther now again that can be varied you can change that to 321 you
[00:22:41] can change it to 329 or 15 sorry 15 21 or 15 29 or however you want to frame that regard fine
[00:22:50] again I'm not going to sit here in the argue or debate it that's fine but as long as we know this is
[00:22:55] information period we know that the Thirotire and Sardis encompass the the Protestant Reformation
[00:23:02] that is in fact clear it's crystal clear so 538 to 1717 and then from a Sardis comes following
[00:23:13] after 1517 to 1798 and then we come to the church of Philadelphia right after that from 1798
[00:23:24] all the way to 1843 and then we come to the church of Leia to see it now it's interesting when
[00:23:31] you look at Leia to see it we know Leia to see it we'd has a time when God is going to judge
[00:23:36] mankind and so we start from AD 1844 the following year Philadelphia and we then
[00:23:45] leads up all the way to the second commented Jesus so just based on this prophecy alone again
[00:23:51] if we were to isolate it from Daniel 2 we know from the sequence of events the chronology clearly
[00:23:57] indicates where in the the 7th age of the church period which is Leia to see it which means
[00:24:03] there is no eighth period meaning after Leia to see it is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ
[00:24:11] Jesus is coming during this period so it means a new heavens and a newer so where are we chronologically
[00:24:19] according to Daniel 2 and 3 where in the Leia to see an age of the church so it's the last segment
[00:24:26] so does that course found with Daniel 2 precisely it's exactly as it's indicates
[00:24:32] and then you look for example in in in in in the book of Revelation you continue on
[00:24:37] in the book of Revelation and what do we find when we look at Revelation in Revelation what
[00:24:42] we find here we find in the following chapters in in the 7 seals right so you have the 7 seals
[00:24:51] indicated here okay and so where do you find this course Revelation chapter 6 and because
[00:24:58] you can go back really even the 4 it kind of gives the setting up of that whole thing and 5
[00:25:04] and 6 and 7 and so forth so here's what you have in the 7 seals again are sequence of events
[00:25:13] a chronological order in which they should be given and it clearly in the case where we are in
[00:25:18] the history of mankind if you look for example the first second third fourth seals again this
[00:25:24] almost a direct parallel to the the 7 churches but at the time you get to the fifth seal
[00:25:32] where talks about by the way the first seals the white horse the second seals the red horse
[00:25:37] the third seals the black horse and the fourth seals the pale horse and again you look at
[00:25:42] the chronological sequence it adds up almost identical to the first four churches of the book
[00:25:51] of Revelation there in the 7 of Revelation 2 and 3 so the dates are on are very much
[00:25:59] when you get to the fifth seal this it talks about the souls of the martyrs of the saints
[00:26:04] again the continuation of the Protestant Reformation and their blood is crying out
[00:26:09] for vindication and the due time God will vindicate his righteous saints
[00:26:15] and then we come to the 6 seal now the 6 seal is incredibly accurate in so many ways that is
[00:26:24] a refutable evidence we have the greater earthquake of 1755 we have the dark day of 1790
[00:26:30] we have the stars that fell in 1833 so we know we know that we are living if you look at this very
[00:26:41] clearly because when you start to understand the 6 seal the 6 seal takes you from 1755 all the way
[00:26:49] to the second comment of the Lord Jesus Christ just read Revelation chapter 6 it will tell you
[00:26:54] that very very clear and so when you're looking at that very clearly we now know we're living
[00:26:59] in the end of the 6 seal now what about the 7 seal the 7 seal says there were silence and heaven
[00:27:07] so if there's silence and heaven in the 7 seal what does that indicate that indicates the return
[00:27:13] of Jesus Christ and so what we're about the witness is the 7 seal being un-un-un-un sealed
[00:27:21] and the unscrolling of the role of the second comment of the Lord Jesus Christ now does this harmonise
[00:27:27] with Daniel chapter 2 and Revelation 2 and 3 absolutely so we have now again another confirmation
[00:27:35] and again we could look at another one and this one again is found in Revelation
[00:27:41] and you're starting with chapter 8 and 9 and all the way all the way up to chapter 11 so you
[00:27:48] have 8 9 10 and 11 and again it's not every little aspect but it's the the 7 trumpets are
[00:27:54] encompassed within those chapters and we have again another confirmation if you look at the first
[00:28:00] trumpet here comes the gaups and the second trumpet the van those the third trumpet the
[00:28:05] hunts the fourth trumpet her you lie and from the first four trumpets what's interesting
[00:28:10] is we have the fall of western Europe or Rome I should say and then you have what in the last
[00:28:17] three trumpets where known as wo trumpets these are five six and seven and the fifth trumpet
[00:28:23] we have the prophecy the sericins or also the the ma- you know ma-hamid or the Turks or however
[00:28:30] you want to frame it that way but it's the sericins this is the beginning of the great struggle
[00:28:35] and then chapter in the sixth trumpet we have the Turks and the fall of the eastern Roman
[00:28:41] Empire and so when you look at the chronology of the dates again look at the first trumpet
[00:28:47] AD 395 to 428 so then you go to the second trumpet and it's again 428 to 468
[00:28:57] and then the third trumpet from 466 the 8 to 4 79 and then you come to the fourth trumpet
[00:29:04] where it says 479 to 620 then you come to the fifth and the fifth trumpet starts in 628
[00:29:11] data 1490 1449 and then the sixth trumpet from 1449 to 1840 predicted exactly the time
[00:29:22] of the fall of the Ottoman Empire and so then you come to the seventh trumpet
[00:29:28] and the seventh trumpet clearly indicates in chapter 11 when you look at the seventh trumpet
[00:29:34] which is fascinating and I'm going to read it now here in verse 15 or Revelation 11 this
[00:29:39] says the seventh angel sounded and there was great voices and heaven saying the kingdom of this world
[00:29:45] are become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever. So here
[00:29:51] we find the seventh angel soundly now watch what happens when the seventh angel sounds. Listen to
[00:29:56] what it says in verse 19 and the temple of God was opened in heaven and there was seen in
[00:30:02] the dark the temple of the excuse me there was seen in heaven in his temple the arc of his
[00:30:10] testament and there were lightning invoices and thunders and an earth quaking great hail
[00:30:14] so what is he telling you that in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he
[00:30:21] and so what do we have ADF 1844 to the second comment of the Lord Jesus Christ?
[00:30:28] So for very clear specific prophecies indicate the chronological order of events indicating
[00:30:37] where we are in the history of mankind there is absolutely no way anyone can misconstrue
[00:30:45] the the accuracy with which these prophecies indicate the time period in which we live
[00:30:50] there is no doubt we are living in the last days of our history. Yes, yes I'll be the cardal
[00:31:00] but I thank you for even such a detailed overview. Find the enough special
[00:31:07] book of evilation from chapters 1 to 11 because I was studying these Bible texts with someone last night
[00:31:16] or trying to anyway to have someone to study the Bible texts with me but the person he was in
[00:31:24] patient see because as you had shared with the listeners you've got to study the Bible line by
[00:31:32] line preset by preset God is a God of order and everything in the Bible is written in an
[00:31:39] orderly fashion where God delineates history in an orderly fashion for the book of evilation
[00:31:45] you see through as you've gone through the seven churches the seven seal the seven trumpets
[00:31:51] each trumpet eats seal they all doctor one with another. See listeners and older
[00:31:59] the cardals have laid this foundation tonight to encourage us to study the Bible line by line preset
[00:32:08] by preset and let the Lord open up world events to us as he sees them you know
[00:32:15] because God's eyes are the true eyes and he will reveal to us not what the media wants us to know
[00:32:24] but really what is actually happening you see and the revelation 11 chapter 18
[00:32:33] I'm glad you bought this art because it says here and the nations were angry and the
[00:32:38] carf is come and the time of the dead that they should be judged and that doubt should give
[00:32:43] us we've worn on to the servants the prophets and the saints and to them that feel I name
[00:32:48] as the elders said this force specific events here and we're in the time with the nations are angry
[00:32:55] that's it you see the wrath of God is not yet come so this is where we are now
[00:33:01] so if anyone's listed in wonder in why the world is as is a way of the nations are angry even
[00:33:07] the visuals God has told us that this would happen and the reason is because the Lord is
[00:33:14] soon to come. Why simple is that so how did the cardal come on please?
[00:33:20] Well again and I like to kind of pick up where you just left off because I think it's imperative
[00:33:24] that when you look at that prophecy and then your left or should be revelation 11
[00:33:30] you know where you talked about it rightly so the four phases and as you had indicated
[00:33:35] we're we're in that section and it gets once again by the way this is another clear evidence
[00:33:42] in fact it true regarding the nature of the time period where are we in history?
[00:33:49] Where are we? Well we're not in the time of the when the dead shall be judged although that's
[00:33:53] not far off. We're not you know we're not at the time when when when when Christ is going to
[00:34:00] rise up in wrath and indignation although that's not far off. So all of these things are near
[00:34:06] but when you look at the when you look at the at the characteristics and the and the order
[00:34:13] and which they're given we are clearly in the time when the nations are angry. There's so much
[00:34:20] uncertainty I think it's Luke 21 that that might be first 17 in my memories right you have to forgive me
[00:34:28] the double check I don't want to miss quote where he talks with they there's the sees
[00:34:34] of roaring and men's hearts failing them for fear of what is coming upon the earth.
[00:34:40] Make sure I get that right I don't want to miss quote making sure I get it exactly as it
[00:34:46] rates um that they're fleeting men times um well it might be a bad decision or else here I'm sorry
[00:35:02] that's why you can give me I don't waste too much time with it but nonetheless you know you're
[00:35:06] seeing that men's hearts failing for fear for what is coming upon the earth the sees are roaring
[00:35:11] see this is where the nations are angry and so you have a you have a confirmation regarding the
[00:35:18] we are in history and I don't think people realize you know there's a fatal there's a fatal
[00:35:25] mistake people make um whenever there's a crisis that come or is coming unless it's unless it's
[00:35:35] right upon you um people tend not to to get all that excited about preparing for what's coming they
[00:35:44] seem to be waiting for the last minute what they don't understand though particularly in the light
[00:35:51] of what we're discussing you're not going to be able to pull yourself by the bootstrap
[00:35:56] who so we say here in the states and make it through this crisis and no matter how hard you
[00:36:02] grit your teeth and bite the bullet as we say uh you won't be able to survive this crisis this is
[00:36:08] going to be the culmination of every uh thing that has gone before in the 6000 year history
[00:36:15] of the great controversy it is when Satan will unleash everything he has in order to desperately
[00:36:23] grasp any attempt to control the world Christ is not going to allow his church to perish
[00:36:32] he will do all that he can to vindicate and and to protect and defend his children this is the
[00:36:41] final event in the history of mankind that will lead to the auto-rewin of the human race
[00:36:48] and except for a remnant of people there will be there will be no redeemed I mean just imagine
[00:36:56] out of the billions of people that have lived throughout the history of the 6000 years
[00:37:01] billions of people and now again I'm not here to judge or nor indicate in any way that I know
[00:37:09] who's going to heaven and who isn't however in comparison when you look at the righteous
[00:37:15] versus the wicked the wicked are in the majority in terms of the numbers um and the righteous have
[00:37:22] always been among the few um and so what I'm trying to say is that people need to understand
[00:37:29] that you can't wait for a crisis of this magnitude to come in order to get ready you must see it
[00:37:36] from afar off and realize it's coming um I've seen for example videos of people who've taken
[00:37:47] pictures or not pictures but videos of um tsunamis yes and you see people sitting on the beach
[00:37:56] and the water just receives just shoo just kind of pushes out maybe a you know 100 yards or whatever
[00:38:03] I mean there's a now that's not natural you know a tsunami is here here it comes it's going to be
[00:38:12] catastrophic and uh and you still people see instead of which is amazing be some people actually
[00:38:20] running towards the beach yes and uh because it's a phenomenon that they have not seen
[00:38:27] they don't realize they're running towards their death and I fear that there are people in this
[00:38:33] world who are so determined for whatever reason to simply ignore the obvious things that are
[00:38:44] taking place around them and to somehow brush it off as well that's just the way things are and
[00:38:51] they saw what they do is they acclimate themselves by conditioning their their conscience to simply
[00:38:57] ignore the warning that God has given and we need to wake up and realize Jesus Christ is coming
[00:39:04] back and he's doing everything in his power to awaken you to the realization of what's about to
[00:39:09] happen and therefore telling you through these signs and times get ready prepare yourself if Jesus Christ
[00:39:15] is not your Lord and Savior if you haven't made him the cornerstone of your life I'm going to tell
[00:39:20] you you're holy unprepared for what's coming and not only that I fear you'll be ultimately
[00:39:26] will be lost for eternity and I tell you now that you must pergrace yourself for what's coming
[00:39:32] look let me show you something out of Thessalonis this is one of the greatest prophecies
[00:39:37] first Thessalonis the Apostle Paul warned us of this very issue he tried to tell us
[00:39:43] first Thessalonis chapter five first Thessalonis chapter five one of the greatest prophecies given
[00:39:50] for the last days by the Apostle Paul and I want to share you this that people are just completely
[00:39:56] ignoring this fact look first Thessalonis chapter five verse one starting with verse one it says
[00:40:02] this but of the times in season brethren you have no need that I write into you and let us just
[00:40:07] stop right there for a moment now Paul clearly is writing to Christians because he's calling them
[00:40:11] brethren and he's telling them look I really I shouldn't even have to be writing to you these things
[00:40:18] because you already know them otherwise I have no need to write you because he's he's confident
[00:40:22] these people know what he's talking about and what the subject matter is he says but he says this
[00:40:29] for yourselves no perfectly that the day of the Lord now let's stop right there the day of the
[00:40:35] Lord is a phrase used to script you throughout not just New Testament Old Testament as well
[00:40:41] describing the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ so Paul says you know perfectly well
[00:40:48] the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night now let's stop right there
[00:40:54] that phrase has often been misconstrued to to to represent something that comes secretly
[00:41:02] now that is not the truth that's a misnomer you know the words people are assuming
[00:41:08] they're assuming that a thief in the night comes secretly he doesn't come secretly
[00:41:16] Psalm 50 verses one to three says our God shall come and shall not keep silent
[00:41:21] so there goes that theory right out the window and there are other verses that clearly indicate
[00:41:26] that the second coming of Jesus Christ is not secret there's nothing secret about it
[00:41:32] whenever I shall see him and each of come with all his glory at the angels with him and so forth
[00:41:39] and and and and he should come with a shout and the voice of the archangel and the voice of the
[00:41:45] archangel symbolizes a voice of authority and so much so that when he calls forth the dead
[00:41:51] to come out of the graves they hear the voice of God Almighty in other words they are raised up
[00:41:56] about the power of God Almighty so much so that that you're going to tell me that people
[00:42:03] are not going to recognize the graves opening you're not going to see that you're not going to know
[00:42:08] that so it's not that the dead can hear because the dead know not anything that's very clear
[00:42:15] but the voice of God is so powerful that when he calls forth the dead they will rise up
[00:42:22] and everyone will see this unbelievable event so clearly we see that thief in the night does not
[00:42:29] mean secret it means unexpectedly so look what he goes on to say it was now you know perfectly
[00:42:37] well he says that the second coming of Jesus will come as a thief in the night not secretly
[00:42:43] unexpectedly for when they now at this point he's not talking about the Christians he's talking
[00:42:52] about the world at large and he says for when they shall say now let's stop here this isn't just
[00:43:00] a verbal expression that they're making they're saying this through their actions more so than
[00:43:07] their words so when when they say through their lifestyle peace and safety in other words I have
[00:43:14] what's why should I worry all is well not always if everything is is peace and safety
[00:43:21] not would let's assume for the sake of the argument all this well there's nothing to worry about
[00:43:25] that places you in a very relaxed mode there's no need to be flustered there's no need for you to
[00:43:34] lose control there's no need for you to get excited because there's nothing there to
[00:43:40] agitate you to the point where you become awakened to the situation at hand all as well this
[00:43:48] peace and calm and so you naturally will go about your life in a very orderly fashion not worrying
[00:43:57] about what's about to happen because there's no need so they're not saying it verbally they're
[00:44:05] saying it more so through their actions of their lives when they shall say peace and safety
[00:44:11] there notice notice now Paul is telling them Jesus is a coming yes so at the time of the second
[00:44:18] coming one of the identifying marks of that we're living at the end of time is when people at large
[00:44:23] are completely ignorant and in many cases willfully ignorant of the of the nearness of the
[00:44:31] coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and so they're saying through their life we have nothing to fear
[00:44:35] look we may as you this may get you out listening not is something on analogy assume with me just for a moment
[00:44:44] you have an individual that's a thief a criminal and he's a habitual criminal and let's assume
[00:44:51] for the sake of the argument that this criminal knows where there's a lot of precious jewels hidden in
[00:44:57] someone's home so this criminal knows that if he can access that he's going to be obviously
[00:45:06] a very wealthy person now the thief will do all that he can to attempt to break into that house and
[00:45:13] the means by which he will choose that is not relevant he will do whatever that is necessary
[00:45:19] but let's assume for the sake of the argument that that thief knows that the house
[00:45:26] of the owner of the house is always watching always aware always tentative to what's taking place
[00:45:35] around him that thief knows he has an chance he knows there's no way he can he can he can
[00:45:43] steal that property and so the difference here is that you have a homeowner who's always watching
[00:45:53] an anticipation because he understands the value that he possesses and fearful that the fact
[00:45:59] that there might be a thief coming to steal what he possesses so he's always watching he's always
[00:46:07] praying he's always attentive he's always making sure that he's taking the necessary steps to
[00:46:12] bear himself for the God forbid the unfortunate event so what's happening in society people are not
[00:46:22] watching they're not paying attention and therefore by their life they're saying peace and
[00:46:28] safe they have nothing to fear I have nothing to worry about when they have everything to worry
[00:46:34] about because Satan is slowly creeping up and attempting to steal their souls look what he
[00:46:40] is on to say this watch this so when they shall say peace and safety notice the change an
[00:46:48] immediate change date then suddenly unexpectedly it says destruction comes upon them how in what way
[00:46:57] he says as prevail upon a woman with child in other words when she's about to get birth right there's
[00:47:02] enormous pain and he says this now this is very very clear they shall not escape it's too late
[00:47:11] there's no way in which you can possibly survive now there's no way you can prepare
[00:47:17] he says but he brethren are not in darkness that that day meaning the second come he should
[00:47:23] overtake you as a thief unexpectedly not secretly unexpectedly he says watch this he said you are all
[00:47:30] children of light meaning what we're always watching we're always praying we're always attentive
[00:47:36] like the homeowner who understands it has precious jewels and that precious jewels in the
[00:47:41] analogy that I gave the precious jewel that you're protecting is your soul it's your salvation
[00:47:47] if you turn a life and so the saints know this in Paul says you're not the children of life
[00:47:55] and the children of the day and we are not of the night nor of darkness therefore let us not sleep
[00:48:00] as do others but let us watch and be sober for they that sleep sleep in the night and they
[00:48:07] that are drunken or drunken in the night but let us who are of the day be sober putting on
[00:48:12] the breastplate of faith and love and of the helmet and an helmet and a hope of salvation
[00:48:19] for God is not appointed us to wrath but unto obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ
[00:48:25] who die for us if who die for us that whether we are asleep meaning awake or asleep meaning
[00:48:32] alive or dead we shall live together with him therefore comfort yourselves together and
[00:48:41] edify one another or even as you do so first vessel in chapter five verses one to eleven's
[00:48:49] the most powerful powerful illustrations of what you brought out very clearly how that we are just
[00:48:57] not waking up to the realization of what's going on the world is fast asleep and this is why
[00:49:04] the bites throughout the Bible you find God telling his people cry aloud despair not lift up
[00:49:08] thy voice like a trumpet and show my people their sins Jesus Christ is coming yes
[00:49:15] right namastecker about that early decoder you know elder you said so much to give the listeners
[00:49:26] food for for for and to think upon I think we should have a break for some music

[00:54:40] there's so much to to unravel there's no doubt about that I know that
[00:54:45] we need to take an account of ourselves because the scriptures clearly indicate we're headed towards
[00:54:58] the most incredible event in the history of mankind and this is the second coming of Jesus Christ
[00:55:06] all the signs of the times are pointing forward to this one event
[00:55:11] and I want to urge our listeners to stay close to this radio program
[00:55:19] and and understand that you have an opportunity now to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and
[00:55:26] Savior and perhaps maybe you already have done that and I pray that that is the case
[00:55:31] but in either way we must let understand that unless Jesus Christ is the foundation of our life
[00:55:38] there will be no hope for us at all in surviving what's coming
[00:55:45] friends listen very carefully to me now
[00:55:48] this may well be for some of you the very last time they've very last opportunity
[00:55:53] that you will ever hear the gospel message and I pray that you will make your decision
[00:55:58] for the Lord Jesus Christ as Paul said quoting David the King David he said today if you hear
[00:56:06] his voice hard not your hearts as in the day of provocation and I'm so I leave you with this
[00:56:13] Jesus is coming prepared yourself except the Lord Jesus Christ is your Savior
[00:56:18] may God bless you I'm in I'll be caller do I have a letter for you and I'll be close this
[00:56:28] evening and man I want to again Father we thank you for this wonderful opportunity to reflect upon
[00:56:35] the very prophecies that you've given through the prophets to help us understand the certainty
[00:56:41] of the times in which we live and really to reflect upon these things and also understand that
[00:56:47] you're coming back and I pray in Jesus' name that you're coming take our hearts and
[00:56:54] order that we might be ready for that great glorious day Lord please forgive us of our sins
[00:57:00] and help us I pray each one to have a daily experience with you I know we've all seen
[00:57:06] and come sure of your glory we've done or said or even thought of things that are inappropriate
[00:57:14] and very shameful and I know there were sin abound aggrace did much more bound so we serve a
[00:57:20] loving God who's not willing to cast us aside and seeking to condemn us but seeking to save us
[00:57:30] so please I pray this day in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as we accept Jesus Christ
[00:57:36] is our Lord and Savior be our God be our defender be our Savior and redeem us for all eternity
