[00:05:07] The Church Babylon is the Church Before we start part 9 of this series of radio programs tonight Let us summarize what we studied last week in part 8 During part 8, we reminded ourselves that modern Babylon is the professed Christian Church which has, as a religious body, become unfaithful to the Lord Jesus Christ Babylon is the mother of harlots

[00:05:37] The mother of harlots is symbolic of the Roman Catholic Church By her daughters is symbolized churches that cling to Roman Catholic doctrines and traditions and follow her example They are scattered into various denominations and have become confused We looked at the wine of Babylon and why the Lord symbolizes error as wine Error is poisonous to the mind

[00:06:05] Babylon's wine of error is presented to the world by the various churches In ancient Israel, when the leaders of the people rejected the truth of God and accepted and taught the precepts of men it caused them to be like drunken men and to stagger And today, as the commandments and traditions of men are being taught by the unfaithful Christian churches This causes men to lose their spirituality and makes men become angry and confused

[00:06:36] We then gave historical evidence through two researchers Kawa Matriciana and Pastor Reginald Wright The evidence correlated with the facts that we shared in part 7 We proved that the three unclean spirits shown to the prophet John in Revelation chapter 16 are Spiritualism through Eastern spirituality and mind sciences Roman Catholic mystical thought through monks and priests

[00:07:05] And mystical thinking used through terminologies and movements Among evangelical Christians These have all been vehicles by which the spirits of devils have demoralized Christian denominational churches And through the documented research carried out by Pastor Reginald Wright We learned, most importantly, that the leaders of the occult levels of society are fully aware that they follow the religion of ancient Babylon

[00:07:35] and that they are in a war against Christ and his people They serve Satan knowingly and are enemies of the true God and his people God warned us about this ongoing conspiracy in Psalm chapter 2 So listeners, as we continue with part 9 of our series of broadcasts called Babylon is the Church We will learn more about modern Babylon and the effect that its teachings have upon society

[00:08:30] those things in your word that we need to know in order for us to be saved in your eternal kingdom is our prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen Babylon is the Church, Part 9 How the teachings of Babylon affect society We read in Revelation chapter 14, verse 8 And there followed another angel saying Babylon is fallen

[00:08:59] is fallen that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of a fornication As we studied in previous radio broadcasts after the papacy failed to take down Protestantism in Great Britain through the Spanish Armada and after they failed with the gunpowder plot Satan then inspired the Jesuits to formulate a new form of anti-Christian

[00:09:25] political government that they could use to overthrow the Protestant world This system of political government is called communism The purpose that Rome had and has with establishing communism and socialism is to destroy Protestantism in this world and to set up Roman Catholic social teaching as the basis of state governments The Communist Manifesto was written by a man called Adam Whitehop

[00:09:54] Adam Whitehop was a Jesuit priest The Jesuits as we studied are a religious order of the Roman Catholic Church They are the spiritual militia of the Church of Rome Satan's whole purpose in inventing the Communist Manifesto through his agents was to influence the governments of the world to teach them satanic principles and to influence them to reject the truth of God and to reverse God's social order

[00:10:24] Let us now give the evidence of the facts to prove this case We read on page 325 in a book called The Succa Circle by Kalea Chambers The English Fabian Society which Ellis helped to found in 1883 is a collectivist group that seeks to establish a one-world socialist government on a piecemeal basis rather than by violent revolution

[00:10:52] A small package of socialism at a time is pushed through the target country's legislative chambers by Fabian lawmakers and lobbyists until total socialism is finally achieved Such legislation is seldom called socialism but parades under the banner of welfare, humanitarianism and the like The public, of course, is not intended to see the full picture of what has happened until it is too late

[00:11:23] Notice, listeners, that the English Fabian Society plan to establish a one-world socialist government under the banner of, among other banners, welfare and humanitarianism Our next source of information comes from the Humanist UK website We read the following The Fabian Society is a socialist intellectual and political organisation

[00:11:48] that played a crucial role in the development of socialist thought and the formation of the Labour Party Aiming to advance socialism through gradual and peaceful means it became well known for its research and publications and through the wider influence of many of its members From its origins, many humanists and free thinkers have been closely involved with the Fabian Society

[00:12:15] seeking to advance equity, opportunity and social progress through ideals rooted in reason and compassion Now listeners, it is interesting to note that the current Prime Minister for the United Kingdom Andy Burnham Andy Burnham Andy Burnham was not elected, but he was selected by the Labour Party Andy Burnham has been a member of the Fabian Society since at least the year 2010

[00:12:43] He has written numerous articles and given speeches for the Fabian Society such as his article for Labour leadership Reference, Fabian online publication www.fabians.org.uk first published in 2010 and his Fabian essays setting out his vision for Labour ahead of the leadership election See fabians.org.uk publication

[00:13:40] who is pushing to devolve central governing powers from parliament in Westminster to other regions in the UK are used as gradual change agents in society They are used by Rome either directly or indirectly to destroy Protestantism and to implement Roman Catholic social teaching and thought On page 137 of Church and State by J. Marcellus KIK we read

[00:14:09] Her view of the subordinate place of the state makes it consistent for the Roman Catholic Church to invade the territory and jurisdiction of the state and to expect state aid for the maintenance of her institutions Des Griffin on pages 32 to 33 of his book called None Dare Call It Conspiracy explains

[00:14:34] We are constantly told that we should all try to stay in the middle of the road which is termed democracy but by which the establishment means Fabianism or creeping socialism Here is an excellent example of the use of false alternatives We are given the choice between communism, international socialism on one end of the spectrum Narcissism, national socialism on the other end

[00:15:04] or Fabian socialism in the middle The whole spectrum is socialist There is a more accurate political spectrum Communism is by definition total government If you have total government, it makes little difference whether you call it communism, fascism, socialism, Caesarism or pharaohism

[00:15:29] It is all pretty much the same from the standpoint of the people you must live and suffer unto it And so listeners, can we see how the Roman Catholic Church the headquarters of spiritual Babylon is ruling in this world over the nations politically It is doing so through its socialist teachings and policies and ideologies Let us now study more about Roman Catholic social teaching

[00:15:58] From pages 43, 81 and 82 of the book Ecclesiastical Megalomania by John W. Robbins, we read One of the Roman Church State's most influential statements on economic matters is the 1891 encyclical Rerum Novorum On the Condition of the Working Classes In this encyclical, the Roman Church State allied herself with the proletariat

[00:16:28] which in Marxism is the great and final enemy of the capitalist order The encyclical Marxism is so blatant that one Roman Catholic writer declared that much of the encyclical Rerum Novarum appeared only to repeat in more orthodox language what Marx had said 10 years before The mainline Protestant churches in America which, like the Roman Catholic Church

[00:16:57] had also abandoned both Christianity and capitalism were promoting what came to be called the social gospel whose political expressions were the progressive movement and later the new deal Many American Roman Catholics were imitating the English cardinal Henry Edward Manning

[00:17:18] His success as a social reformer stemmed largely from his willingness to work with men of every religious persuasion From pages 82 to 84 of the same book, John Robbins writes In 1889 and 1893, two years before and two years after, Leo XIII issued Rerum Novorum

[00:17:46] The Roman Church State hierarchy in America, the leader of which was Cardinal Gimmons organized two major congresses The first in Baltimore and the second in Chicago In order to mobilize clergy and laity for progressive social action The Roman Catholic priest John A. Ryan, 1869-1945

[00:18:10] who has been called the foremost academician of the American Catholic social movement He published his first book in 1906 A Living Wage Its Ethical and Economic Aspects Ryan's subsequent books, essays and articles advocated many other interferences in the market A legally mandated eight-hour workday Restrictions on the labor of women and children State employment bureaus

[00:18:41] Unemployment insurance Legally mandated accident, sickness and old age insurance Public housing programs Government ownership of natural monopolies Graduated income taxes Graduated inheritance taxes and so forth Ryan called his program Essential economic socialism and semi-socialism Moving on to page 89 we read

[00:19:10] Unemployment benefits of course are not the extent of the Roman welfare program There are also the right to a pension and to insurance for old age In case of accidents at work, within the sphere of these principal rights There develops a whole system of particular rights As the number of Roman Catholic rights multiplies The larger the government becomes And the smaller the sphere of freedom shrinks

[00:19:39] In addition to rights to welfare checks Unemployment grants Pensions, accident insurance and old age insurance Governments must protect the disabled as well Referring to Pope Pius XI's encyclical published in 1931 Called Quadragesimo Anno John W. Robbins states on page 49 of his book Pius XI here discloses the enormous influence

[00:20:07] Rerum Novorum had not only within the church state But also in non-Catholic intellectual circles worldwide And in political and judicial activity worldwide And so listeners, can we see why we have a growing welfare state Especially in Europe and America today The idea of a socialist welfare state was not originally formulated by the humanist society

[00:20:35] The plans for a socialist welfare state came from the Vatican Note that the Catholic Church works through interference That is to forcibly push through their plans Into state government Now many listening tonight may have heard of the phrase being used The common good We read from pages 155 and 159 of ecclesiastical megalomania

[00:21:03] The Roman Church state asserts again and again for the common good Here is its origin The term appears scores of times in the papal encyclicals In the Catechism of the Catholic Church And in statements issued by other bishops The common good becomes the reason for extensive government intervention into the economy

[00:21:29] Not only does the government, which is the sole temporal representative of the common good Arbitrate among the particular interests But it also has the duty of providing the conditions of freedom Food, clothing, health, work, education, culture, information, the right to establish a family And so on The common good, which can be determined only by government

[00:21:57] Since all other groups, except of course the Roman Church state Are of a lower order and represent only particular interests Is the great fiction by which the state defends its control of society So listeners, the creation of the welfare state and the social services in society The human rights of society has been done in order to flood society With regulations that will eventually enslave people

[00:22:25] These hinder a person's freedom to live and function as God would have them The Roman Catholic Church believes that it has the right to control every aspect of our lives Forcibly Its idea of the common good is not based upon what God states in his word as good But rather, common good is based upon whatever the Roman Catholic Church deems is best fit for man

[00:22:52] The Vatican then seeks to enforce its ideas of common good through the state This is in direct contrast to the gentle and loving spirit of Christ God gives people the right to choose whether they desire to serve him or not Satan on the other hand seeks to force people to serve him And he gives people no choice It must be understood that Roman Catholicism is the number one enemy of civil and religious liberty in this world

[00:23:23] On page 195, Robbins writes The Roman state is a hybrid A monster of ecclesiastical and political power Its political thought is totalitarian And whenever it has an opportunity to apply its principles The result has been bloody repression The Roman church state in the 20th century, however Is an institution recovering from a mortal wound

[00:23:53] When it regains full power It will impose a regime more sinister than any the planet has yet seen Finally, let us note what John W. Robbins quotes The Roman church in the 20th century, the Roman church in the 20th century, the Roman church in the 20th century The Roman church in the 20th century, the Roman church in the 20th century, the Roman church in the 20th century His work is called The Protestant Ethic and Modernization, a Comparative View It reads

[00:24:17] Our field data indicate that in many countries, in Brazil and Chile, Protestants have gained the reputation among non-Protestants of being especially reliable, conscientious and industrious Numerous interviews with employers left no doubt that Protestant workers are especially sought after and even given advantages Numerous Protestants assured us that their conversions

[00:24:48] regularly described as rebirth had led to economic improvement The reason given was that prior to conversion, they had spent a great deal of money on alcohol lottery tickets, gambling, tobacco, cosmetics, movies and prostitution Once they gave up these sins, substantial amounts of money were available for permissible and necessary things

[00:25:17] Industrialism, pride and thrift were often mentioned subjectively to explain improved economic conditions It is hardly surprising that Protestant families living by the cold of a Puritanic ethic have better housing, clothes, more sewing machines, bicycles, radios and so on than do non-Protestants of comparable social status

[00:25:44] So listeners, what I have read speaks for itself When we give our hearts to Jesus and by the power of His grace, give up our sins and live honestly in the sight of God, then we will find true happiness and prosperity The welfare of society can only be bettered by godly living So listeners, we will have a break and continue our study afterwards

[00:28:31] We will now look at the Church of England A well-documented example of the acceptance of Satanic teachings and errors by a Church professing the Protestant faith can be seen on home soil here in England The mysteries came into the Church of England through the Oxford Movement The Roman Catholic Church seduced Cardinal Newman and Dr. Pusey

[00:28:59] and used them to introduce and set up ritualistic societies within the Anglican Church This is the reason why the Anglican Church today almost mirrors the Roman Catholic Church The Church of England has become a daughter of spiritual Babylon because it has slowly but surely accepted the spirit and form of Romanism that sprang up initially through the Oxford Movement

[00:29:28] You can read all about how this historically took place in Walter Walsh's acclaimed book written in 1899 The Secret History of the Oxford Movement On page 370 of this book In summary with his findings The author Walter Walsh makes it plain to the reader We object to the reunion with the papacy

[00:29:54] because the Church of Rome is the Babylon of the Revelation Commenting further on page 371 The author states And now we know in a nutshell what the ritualistic conspiracy really means While Lord Halifax and his followers will lead us astray from the good old ways of our forefathers into open rebellion against the revealed will of God

[00:30:24] Let us hearken to God rather than man You see listeners, even back in 1899 God's faithful people knew then that there was a global conspiracy set up by Satan acting through the papacy which was infiltrating Protestant churches seeking to bring them into rebellion against the revealed will of God Now why are there so many Bible translations today?

[00:30:55] Out of this Oxford Movement came two leading teachers of error Brooke Foss Westcott and John Anthony Hort Many Christians do not realize that this movement has corrupted what people read when they choose certain Bible translations Westcourt and Hort disciples of this movement used corrupt Greek manuscripts

[00:31:22] based upon the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus texts to create New Testament Bibles that reflected their own beliefs These men were the original translators of the NIV and Jehovah's Witnesses Bibles all of which deny the divinity of Christ Regarding Westcourt and Hort we read in the book our authorised versions vindicated both rejected the atonement of the substitution of Christ for the sinner

[00:31:52] or vicarious atonement both denied that the death of Christ counted for anything as an atoning factor They emphasised atonement through the incarnation This is the Catholic doctrine It helps defend the mass As from our authorised version vindicated pages 158-159 by B.G. Wilkinson As mentioned in the previous radio broadcasts

[00:32:21] we will give some examples of how the corrupt Bible translations teach anti-Christian doctrine Let us look at Ephesians 3-9 In the King James Version it reads And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world have been hidden God who created all things by Jesus Christ Now in the New World Translation it reads

[00:32:59] The NIV and New World Translation versions of the Bible which are basically the same Bibles they leave out the truth that God created all things by Jesus Christ Thus denying Christ of his office of God which he holds with the Father and the Holy Ghost See 1 John 5-7 Now let us look at 1 Timothy 3-16 In the King James Version of the Bible it reads

[00:33:29] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh justified in the spirit seen of angels preached unto the gentiles believed on in the world received up into glory In the New World Translation it reads Beyond all question the mystery of godliness is great He appeared in a body was vindicated by the spirit was seen by angels

[00:33:59] was preached among the nations was believed on in the world was taken up in glory We see again here We see again here how the NIV version of the Bible takes away Christ's rightful office as God It just says he was manifested in a body He can be any man It does not denote whether this he is a human or divine He was manifest as the mystery of godliness

[00:34:28] Now listeners let us listen to Gal Ripplinger the author of a great book called New Age Bible Translations as she explains more about the errors of modern Bible translations This is from her night line interview with Joanne Thompson The young people who were using the new Bible versions Yes The Living Bible The Revised Standard Version The NIV Bible The New American Standard were having more of a problem with their walk with the Lord

[00:34:57] than the students were using the King James Now I personally really didn't know anything about the difference between the versions You know I'd never heard anything that there was a difference you know And so one day a young lady came in my office and she was crying and they were all crying You know boyfriend breaks up with them Oh yeah And they get a D and a chemistry test and they go to Gail's office That's where every pipeline went to Gail's office And so I would mother them So I took this young lady brought her Bible with her and she opened up to

[00:35:25] I said let's look at Luke chapter 4 where it says Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted Because the answer to her problems was not getting a better grade on the chemistry test or having the boyfriend come back because that's a temporary solution and she needs a permanent solution So I said let's look at Jesus He came to heal the brokenhearted So we opened her up her NASB And it wasn't there That whole section had been taken out And I was kind of surprised And that was the first time I'd ever known that there was a difference So then I thought well perhaps we'll go to another verse

[00:35:55] We'll go to the Old Testament Where it said his mind is kept in perfect peace Whose mind is stayed on thee I thought this young lady needs sort of like the radio channel You know there's static on every channel in our life except the Lord Jesus Christ He's the in he said in the world you shall have tribulation But in me you shall have peace okay So I wanted to show this young lady You can't go by circumstances Sometimes they'll be good and sometimes they'll be bad But in this world you'll have tribulation But you need to focus your mind on the Lord Jesus Christ

[00:36:24] So I wanted to show her this verse in the NASB They had omitted in me So it just said whose mind is steadfast Well before I was saved I'd studied new age philosophy and eastern mysticism And all that sort of thing And I knew that was exactly what the eastern mystics were teaching people Keep your mind steadfast on the mantra meditate on this And I thought no You know your mind must be on Christ And so then I was very concerned And so since I love these young people so much

[00:36:53] I prayed to the Lord and I said Lord I need some time to look at these versions I said this needs to be a word for word collation I like to be thorough on things I do We need to start you know first word of the first sentence of the new versions And go right through I want to see what's happening Why have these changes taken place And so the Lord was so gracious And I spent the next six years Between four and 12 hours a day More often 12 hours than four hours

[00:37:21] For six years collating word for word The new versions of the bible Comparing them with the authorized King James Version Well it didn't take me you know more than a month To find out that something There had been egregious changes in the new versions And as I found out at the end of the six year study That there have been 64,000 words taken out of the NIV Now these aren't words like thee and thou And flowery things that we don't need These are serious things like the deity of Jesus Christ How are we saved

[00:37:50] I noticed the young people who use the new versions They seem very uncertain about their relationship with God And I found out why And I found out what was happening in the new versions That was making them have some of these problems that they had Another young man came in my office and he said These young people who were using the new versions Were having doctrinal problems This young gentleman came in and he said Can you tell me if Isaiah 14 is about Jesus Christ Or is it about Lucifer?

[00:38:19] Well I knew Isaiah 14 is the biography of Lucifer This is where Lucifer falls And it says how are thou fallen from heaven O Lucifer son of the morning And then it ends he's cast down to hell And I said well young man That's the biography of Lucifer And he said well my bible says it's about Jesus Christ And I said oh no what do you mean by that So we got his NASB And I looked and it said how are you fallen from heaven Morning star son of the morning Then the little footnote took you over to

[00:38:47] A reference in Peter and a reference in Revelation Where it takes you to Jesus Christ The bright morning star So obviously that footnote hadn't been there If you knew your bible that would take you to Our precious Jesus Christ you know So this young All these pragmatic experiences were leading me to think I really need to look into this And so that's how the bible version The new age bible version book came to be You know I cared so much about these students I saw that that they weren't getting the rest in the Lord

[00:39:16] That I was getting from my King James And it just broke my heart So I thought well students at a university level are very Much interested in having concrete information set before them You can't just say I prefer the King James or something like this You have to set before them some very concrete information And so I set forth to do that in writing the book Okay what about who's behind all this changing of the bible Well you know Is it a conspiracy?

[00:39:43] I think a lot of the people who have been on these new version committees Are very sincere people And I think eve in the garden was very sincere Because when you look at what she What her options were She saw that the tree was good To make one wise okay And I think the serpent has hung from the tree of wisdom That's where he started out And he hasn't moved And people have moved underneath it And I think the desire to sort of help God out Remember the story of the man in the old testament

[00:40:13] When the ark of the covenant was going to fall And this one man went over to try to help it And God killed him because he wasn't allowed to do that That wasn't his job And I think some of these men or most of these men May have had good intentions But I think they've moved under that tree of wisdom With the serpent hanging over it And pride has entered in perhaps Because lucifer fell through pride Right And um And I think some of these men have fallen through the same thing And I think They were sincere but sincerely wrong

[00:40:42] Because once they move under that tree The very first thing The very first question in the history of mankind Is yea hath God said That was the first question And we're going to find out in these last days This is the last question Yea hath God said The scholars will question the king james bible Yea hath God said Did God say those 64,000 words that we've taken out Yea hath God said The question mark there And then what happens there When you have God and his word as the authority One bible

[00:41:11] And God speaking in the garden You have no division Okay And God doesn't want division All right But when you introduce a second authority That's the serpent Asking the question yea hath God said And then eve gets to be the arbiter That's how she became God Or as gods You shall become as gods She became as gods by getting to pick Do I pick the serpent Or do I pick God's word And she became God in the sense Because she was going to make a choice Okay

[00:41:40] Now I believe God's written Given us the king james bible That is the bible for the english speaking world Okay And I sort of think he did it once And he doesn't have to do anything over again He does such a good job whenever he does it And so I think when we have several authorities Whether it's a greek scholar A lexicon Several versions Then we have that option We can pick what's God's word Well is this in or is this out or is this in And then we do like eve You know with good intentions But it has a bad result The result is

[00:42:10] The serpent gets to have his way For many years the living bible had a lot of curse words in it And that you wouldn't want your little child to read or to pick up Now they've finally taken them out But there are a lot of copies in print That still have all those curse words in it But something interesting happened to mr taylor And to four or five other gentlemen who wrote these new versions They've lost their ability to speak Okay now remember Are you kidding No remember um zachariah Yes When the angel came to him

[00:42:38] And he said uh that he was going to have a son And he didn't believe him He laughed And he said because thou believest not my words And he couldn't speak Well mr taylor's lost his ability to speak It was reported in time magazine some years ago But he's not the only one New version editor after new version editor apparently are losing their ability to speak It's it appears that god is continuing to judge them on these sorts of things Um some of your listeners have probably heard of jb phillips translation

[00:43:06] He has a book called the price of success And in that book he talks about how he lost his ability to speak and that's why the book is called the price of success And so he had to quit traveling around and quit doing all sorts of things like this because he lost his ability to speak for no reason No for no No disease No No No No Isn't that something Um the gentleman who wrote the greek text underlying the niv and the nasb bf

It is a mind that lacks faith in the promises and power of God to do the impossible It is to think as humanists do That human reason is the only practical way to solve life's problems This is the spirit of religion of ancient Babylon
