[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Why is Satan worship so dangerous?
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: How is Satan worship seen today?
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And how do we escape the influence of Satan worship?
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So before we start our study this evening, let us have a word of prayer.
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you once again this week for voicing the wilderness internet radio streaming live on the internet from London.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_00]: As we study your word this evening, we ask that your Holy Spirit to be with us and to teach us and to impress our minds and hearts if eternal truth is our prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Now what is Satan worship?
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Revelation chapter 12 and verses 7 to 9.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And there was war in heaven.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not.
[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Neither was their place found any more in heaven, and the great dragon was cast out.
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: That old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceived the whole world.
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Isaiah chapter 14 and verse 12.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning?
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: How art thou cut down to the ground, which this weakened the nations?
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Matthew chapter 4 and verses 8 to 10.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Again the devil taketh him up, as with Jesus, into an exceeding high mountain,
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Any safe unto him? All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me?
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Then save Jesus unto him.
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Get thee hence Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord's eye God,
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and him only shalt thou serve.
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Satan worship is the same as Lucifer worship, Devil worship, Serpent worship, and Dragon worship.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: This is because Lucifer, Satan, the Devil, the Serpent and the Dragon are all names for the one and the same being.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: This being is the mighty angel who rebelled against the government of God.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: He was originally called Lucifer.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: The name Lucifer means light bearer.
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Next to Christ, Lucifer had been the most honored of God and was highest in power and glory among the inhabitants of heaven.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Lucifer, son of the morning, was first of the Coving Cherubs, holy and undefiled.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: He stood in the presence of the great Creator, and the ceaseless beams of glory enshrouding the eternal God rested upon him.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Lucifer, the light bearer, the share of God's glory, the attendant of his throne, by transgression became Satan the adversary of God
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and holy beings and the destroyer of those whom heaven had committed to his guidance and guardianship.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But Michael, which is another name for Christ, see Jude chapter 1 verse 9.
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Michael and his angels fought against Satan and his angels.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And after losing the war in heaven against Christ, Satan was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast with him.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in 1 John chapter 3 and verse 4.
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Whosoever committed sin transgressive also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in 1 John chapter 3 and verse 8.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He that committed sin is of the devil, for the devil sinner from the beginning,
[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_00]: for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Romans chapter 6 and verse 23.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And only one with infinite love and power could restore man from his evil, fallen, sinful condition to reflect God's perfect love once more.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus, out of infinite love for man, chose to give his life to save repentant sinners
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: as he being man's creator and life giver was the only one who could atone for man's sins and save him from ruin.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, to worship Satan listeners is to worship sin.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_00]: All who follow Satan will live a sinful selfish life that would eventually bring death and ruin.
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Luke chapter 22 and verses 40 to 42.
[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And when he was at the place, he said unto them,
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_00]: this is Jesus once more,
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_00]: pray that you enter not into temptation.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast and kneeled down and prayed,
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_00]: saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Nevertheless, not my will but Zion be done.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Let us look again listeners at the spirit that lies at the foundation of Satan worship.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: When the spotless majesty of heaven, Jesus Christ, was dying in the garden of Gohsemini
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_00]: because of the weight of the sins of the whole world being placed upon him
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and even more so because of the separation from his father's love.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Even though he was under such keen suffering,
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Christ still surrendered his will and his life to his father.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Such was the love that Christ had for God and such was Christ's love towards sinners.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Contrast now the spirit of God with the spirit of Satanism.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the most well-known Satanists in recent history, Alistair Crowley,
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: summed up the core of Satanic religion as
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_00]: do as our will shall be the whole of the law.
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Here we see that rather than denying self and being willing to die in loving obedience to God's law,
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: the spirit of Satan is to indulge oneself, make your own law,
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and disobey God whatever the consequences.
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: All who worship Satan, therefore, like their master, put the commandments of men before the commandments of God.
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Satanic religion, therefore, as we have studied in previous radio broadcasts,
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: is the worship of the creature and not the creator.
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: It is to follow one's own selfish desires
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and to worship anyone or anything other than the true God.
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Now when did Satan worship start?
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Genesis chapter 3 verses 1-6.
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And he said unto the woman,
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yea, have God said,
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And the woman said unto the serpent,
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: God have said,
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: ye shall not eat of it,
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: neither shall ye touch it,
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and the serpent said unto the woman,
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: ye shall not surely die,
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_00]: then your eyes shall be opened,
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and did eat and gave also unto her husband with her.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: As we have studied over the past,
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_00]: free radio broadcasts

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_00]: mankind began worshiping Satan
[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: through Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They distrusted God
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and believed in Satan's lie
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that man can reach a higher sphere of existence
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_00]: and become as a God
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and live forever
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_00]: when he disobeys God
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and his Creator Jesus Christ.
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: When he dies first,
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: she allowed Satan to deceive her
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and she imagined
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_00]: that through disobedience
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: she was feeling the sensations of a new
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and more exalted life.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Adam was not deceived as was Eve
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: but he was influenced by her to do as she had done.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Eat and risk the consequences
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_00]: since no harm she said had come to her.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Adam then permitted himself
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: to be seduced by the experience of his wife.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: He could not endure to be separated from her.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: He ate and fell from his integrity.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Secret Society writers also testified
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: that the mystery religions
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: which are forms of Satanic religion
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: come from the Garden of Eden.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_00]: from age to age
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Satan has gathered human agencies
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: through whom to work out
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_00]: his diabolical purposes
[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and to bring about the enforcement
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: of his plans and devices in the earth.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_00]: The great, putrid fountain of evil
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: has become continually flowing
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: through human society.
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Though unable to expel God from his throne
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Satan has charged God with satanic attributes
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and has claimed the attributes
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_00]: of God at his own.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Through his serpentine sharpness
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_00]: through his crooked practices
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_00]: he has drawn to himself
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_00]: the homage that human beings
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_00]: should have given to God
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and has planted his satanic throne
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: on human worshipper and the Divine Father.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So why Satan worships so dangerous?
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in John chapter 8 verse 44
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus says
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and this is here speaking to the Jews
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: at this time
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: you are of the father the devil
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and the lusts of your father you will do
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: he was a murderer from the beginning
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and abode not in the truth
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: because there is no truth in him
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: when he speaks of a lie
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_00]: he speaks of his own

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus makes it known to us
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that the devil Satan was the murderer from the beginning
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Murder first exists in the mind
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_00]: he who gives hatred the place in his heart
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_00]: is set in his feet in the path of the murderer
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_00]: which is the path that Satan first went upon
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: it was the hatred that Satan had in his heart
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: towards Jesus Christ
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_00]: that eventually led him to inspire the Jews
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_00]: to reject the Messiah
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and to place him on the cross
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_00]: We read in Matthew chapter 5 verse 22
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: but I say unto you
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_00]: that whosoever is angry with his brother
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_00]: without a cause
[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_00]: shall be in danger of the judgment
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: and whosoever shall say to his brother
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_00]: shall be in danger of the council
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_00]: but whosoever shall say thou fool
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_00]: shall be in danger of hellfire
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_00]: it is a sin to cherish anger
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_00]: against the brother or sister in the church

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and oh how much of there is this in the church today

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_00]: he thinks he has an occasion for feeling angry

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_00]: or vain fellow
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: but these passionate words are a savor of death unto death
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: he who utters them is not the co-operating of God
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: but with Satan

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Satan has continued with men the same policy which he pursued with the angels

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_00]: like him they seek to break down the restraints of the law of God
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and promise man liberty through transgression of his precepts
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_00]: the proof of sin still arouses the spirit of hatred and resistance
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_00]: when God's messages of warning are brought home to the conscience

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and to seek the sympathy of others in their course of sin
