[00:03:10] I love to tell the story will be my theme in glory

[00:03:23] To tell the old old story of Jesus and his love

[00:03:38] Voice in the Ring-Core

[00:03:55] The restoration of the family unit

[00:03:59] We will discuss this subject tonight with answers from the Bible

[00:04:03] Have a pen and paper ready to write down some notes

[00:04:08] Tonight we will be discussing these questions together

[00:04:12] What purpose does God have for families?

[00:04:16] How are families to relate to churches?

[00:04:19] How has the family unit become fragmented?

[00:04:24] What is God's plan to restore the family unit?

[00:04:28] And what can we do to restore the family unit as individuals today?

[00:04:34] So, listeners, before we start our study this evening, let us have a word of prayer

[00:04:42] Heavenly Father, thank you for voicing the wilderness, internet radio, streaming live on the internet from London

[00:04:48] Lord, as you study your word this evening, you ask once more for your Holy Spirit to be with us

[00:04:56] To teach us and to strengthen our minds in eternal truth is our prayer

[00:05:02] In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen

[00:05:08] Now what purpose does God have for families?

[00:05:11] We read in the book of Ephesians chapter 3 verses 14-19

[00:05:16] For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

[00:05:22] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named

[00:05:26] That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory

[00:05:30] To be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man

[00:05:35] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith

[00:05:38] That He, being rooted and grounded in love

[00:05:41] May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length

[00:05:48] And depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge

[00:05:54] That you might be filled with all the fullness of God

[00:05:57] God's purpose is for the whole family in heaven and earth

[00:06:04] To be named after the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

[00:06:08] He desires to grant us, according to the riches of His glory

[00:06:13] To be strengthened with might by the Holy Spirit in the inner man, the mind

[00:06:19] The family of God is to have their minds strengthened by the Holy Spirit

[00:06:24] That Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith

[00:06:28] The Scriptures explain further

[00:06:31] Christ is to dwell in the family of God's hearts by faith

[00:06:35] That they, the family of God, may be rooted and grounded in love

[00:06:40] And may be able to comprehend or understand the expanse of God's love

[00:06:47] With passive knowledge

[00:06:49] That they may be filled with all the fullness of God

[00:06:53] If earthly parents want their children to be surrounded with their love and care

[00:06:58] And protection

[00:07:00] How much more does our heavenly Father not only want us to be surrounded

[00:07:05] With His care and protection, but to be filled with His love

[00:07:10] God the Father wants to fill all the hearts of His children with His love

[00:07:15] Whether they are in heaven, such as the heavenly angels or on earth

[00:07:20] As the human family through the power of the Holy Spirit

[00:07:24] Through Jesus Christ the Lord

[00:07:26] We read in the book of John chapter 14 and verses 6 to 7

[00:07:34] Jesus says unto Him

[00:07:36] I am the way, the truth and the life

[00:07:39] No man cometh unto the Father but by me

[00:07:43] If ye had known me, you should have known my Father also

[00:07:48] And from henceforth you know Him and have seen Him

[00:07:53] Jesus himself lets us know that He is the way, the truth and the life

[00:07:59] If we desire to know the way of love

[00:08:02] The truth about love

[00:08:04] And the life that is love

[00:08:06] Then we need to know Him who is the source of love itself

[00:08:10] Our Creator and Redeemer Jesus Christ

[00:08:14] God's purpose is for each family member to have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ

[00:08:22] The Father in the family needs to know Jesus

[00:08:26] The Mother in the family needs to know Jesus

[00:08:29] And the children in the family need to know Jesus

[00:08:33] Here is God's purpose

[00:08:35] Here is God's plan for all the family

[00:08:40] We read in the book of Matthew chapter 7 and verse 11

[00:08:44] If ye then be an evil know how to give good gifts unto your children

[00:08:50] How much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him

[00:08:56] We read in the book of Luke chapter 11 and verse 13

[00:09:00] If ye then be an evil know how to give good gifts unto your children

[00:09:04] How much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him

[00:09:10] Listeners, the Holy Spirit, the representative of God Himself is the greatest of all gifts

[00:09:21] All good things are comprised in this

[00:09:25] The Creator Himself can give us nothing greater, nothing better

[00:09:29] Thus we see that God's purpose for each family is that they receive the greatest gift that He can give

[00:09:35] The Holy Spirit is our own personal representative

[00:09:40] The Divine Presence in the mind and heart is the greatest gift that each one of us can receive

[00:09:47] We read in the book of Genesis chapter 15 and verse 1

[00:09:52] After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision saying

[00:09:56] Fear not Abram, I am thy shield and I exceed in great reward

[00:10:03] We read in the book of Exodus chapter 33 and verse 14

[00:10:07] And He said, My presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest

[00:10:14] We read in the book of 1 John chapter 3 and verse 24

[00:10:19] And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him and in him shall be the Lord

[00:10:24] And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him and he in him

[00:10:29] And hereby we know that he abideeth in us by the Spirit which he has given us

[00:10:35] To Abraham as well as to Moses God promised to be their shield and exceed in great reward

[00:10:43] He promised that His presence would go with them and give them rest

[00:10:47] Through the writings of the Apostle John we learn that it is only through the power of the Holy Ghost

[00:10:55] That a person can keep God's commandments

[00:10:58] The Holy Ghost is a gift that is given to God's children

[00:11:02] As the only those who choose to be obedient to God have His presence

[00:11:07] And so listeners, we see all throughout the Bible the consistent teaching

[00:11:12] That God desires to dwell in us personally

[00:11:16] Personally, through Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit

[00:11:21] The greatest reward that a mortal can have in this life is to be honoured by God's presence

[00:11:28] Not a presence as hevenism teaches all pervaded nature and universe

[00:11:34] But His personal presence dwelleth in each person's mind and heart

[00:11:39] When each family member experiences God's love and power personally for themselves

[00:11:45] Then they will have a mutual experience

[00:11:48] They can share the love that they have received from God to each other

[00:11:52] And the family is united together in Christ's love

[00:11:56] These things are and always will be a mystery

[00:12:01] But by faith, God's people know that He is true

[00:12:04] Destroy sin in their hearts and sustains them in a holy life

[00:12:10] Now how are families to relate to churches?

[00:12:15] We read in the book of Genesis chapter 18 and verse 19

[00:12:19] For I know Him that He will command His children and His household after Him

[00:12:25] And they shall keep the way of the Lord to do justice and judgment

[00:12:30] That the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of Him

[00:12:34] We read in the book of Genesis chapter 12 and verses 2-3

[00:12:40] And I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless thee

[00:12:45] And make thy name great and thou shall be a blessing

[00:12:49] And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curse if thee

[00:12:53] And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed

[00:12:57] God sing without Abraham in His word because Abraham and his family

[00:13:03] are an example of what a family should be with relation to God's church

[00:13:09] They should keep the way of the Lord and do justice and judgment

[00:13:14] That the Lord may bless them and bless all who they come in contact with

[00:13:19] And so families are to bring the influence of God's blessings in their lives into churches

[00:13:25] So that the church can rightly represent God and be a blessing to the community

[00:13:30] The church is not a building alone listeners but every single disciple of Jesus Christ

[00:13:36] We read in the book of Psalms chapter 95 and verses 2-3

[00:13:42] Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving

[00:13:45] And make a joyful noise unto Him with Psalms

[00:13:49] For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods

[00:13:53] We read in the book of Psalms chapter 100 and verses 4-5

[00:13:58] Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise

[00:14:03] Be thankful unto Him and bless His name

[00:14:07] For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting

[00:14:11] And His truth endures to all generations

[00:14:15] God clearly instructs His people to enter into His place of worship

[00:14:18] With thanksgiving and praise because He is due praise and thanksgiving for all that He has done

[00:14:28] To bless and to preserve each family member every day who have given themselves to Him

[00:14:34] Thus families are not to join God's church because of what they receive from His church alone

[00:14:40] Rather, families are to join God's church in order to be of use in God's service

[00:14:45] And to serve by His grace and to help bless others

[00:14:50] They are to keep God's way through the power of Christ

[00:14:55] Doing justice and judgment wherever they have an influence

[00:14:59] Quite simply families who make up God's church are called to lovingly serve

[00:15:05] This was why we had the first free radio programs based upon my own personal knowledge

[00:15:11] This was why we had the first free radio programs based upon manhood, womanhood and childhood

[00:15:18] When each family member knows the role God gives to them

[00:15:23] Then together as a family they can know what white relation they are to have in God's church

[00:15:31] We read in the book of Isaiah chapter 56 verses 6-7

[00:15:36] Also the sons of the stranger that join themselves to the Lord to serve Him

[00:15:43] And to love the name of the Lord to be His servants

[00:15:47] Everyone that keeps them to sabre from polluting it and taking hold of my covenant

[00:15:52] Even then will I bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer

[00:15:58] Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar

[00:16:02] For mine house shall be called in house of prayer for all people

[00:16:09] God promises not only to bless all the families who have joined Him and serve Him

[00:16:14] And to love His name who keep His seventh day sabre from polluting it

[00:16:19] Who take hold of His covenant but He also promises that the sons of the stranger

[00:16:25] Those who have not given themselves yet to Christ

[00:16:28] If they join themselves to Him under the same conditions

[00:16:33] Then they will also be received into His church and He will accept their service towards Him

[00:16:39] This reveals that the Lord still offers salvation and blessing

[00:16:44] Not only to those within His church but also to those who are outside His church

[00:16:50] Whoever they are who are willing to give themselves to Him fully

[00:16:54] And come into His church into a covenant relationship with Him

[00:16:58] And be obedient to His commandments especially the fourth commandment

[00:17:02] Which declares Him to be the creator of the universe

[00:17:08] Now how has the family unit become fragmented?

[00:17:12] We read in the book of Isaiah chapter 3 and verses 8-12

[00:17:17] For Jerusalem is ruined and Judah is fallen

[00:17:21] Because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord

[00:17:25] To provoke the eyes of His glory

[00:17:27] The show of their countenance of witness against them

[00:17:31] They declare their sin as sudden

[00:17:34] They hide it not

[00:17:36] Woe unto their soul for they have rewarded evil unto themselves

[00:17:41] Say it to the righteous that it shall be well with Him

[00:17:45] For they shall eat the fruit of their doings

[00:17:48] Woe unto the wicked it shall be ill with Him

[00:17:52] For the reward of His hands shall be given Him

[00:17:56] As for my people, children are the oppressors and women rule over them

[00:18:01] O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err

[00:18:07] And destroy the way of thy paths

[00:18:11] Listeners, these Bible texts explain why the family unit has broken up

[00:18:16] The family unit has become ruined because the church has become ruined

[00:18:22] In Isaiah we have an account of the reasons why Jerusalem

[00:18:26] God's church in Isaiah's time had fallen

[00:18:29] God's people's sayings and doings were against the Lord

[00:18:34] They sinned openly

[00:18:36] They allowed children to oppress them and allowed women to rule

[00:18:40] The order of the family unit became reversed

[00:18:45] Church leaders caused the people to do wrong

[00:18:48] And destroyed the way of people's paths

[00:18:51] Is it not the same today?

[00:18:54] Can we really blame the church for the break up of the family unit?

[00:18:59] Has God's church fallen?

[00:19:02] We will have a break for some music

[00:19:05] and then continue with our society this evening

[00:21:38] Listeners, let us continue to look at why the family unit has become fragmented

[00:22:30] The Bible reads in the book of Revelation chapter 14 and verse 8

[00:22:36] As they followed another angel saying

[00:22:39] Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city

[00:22:42] That great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication

[00:22:50] The Babylon here symbolized is called she by Jesus

[00:22:55] Babylon is a woman, but what type of woman?

[00:23:00] The Bible reads in the book of Revelation chapter 17 and verse 5

[00:23:04] And upon her forehead was a name written

[00:23:08] Mystery Babylon the Great

[00:23:10] The mother of harlots and abominations of the earth

[00:23:16] Here we see that Babylon is a mother

[00:23:19] She is a mother not of good children but of harlots, prostitutes

[00:23:26] Her children are impure

[00:23:29] From Babylon comes the abominations of the earth

[00:23:35] The Bible reads in the book of Jeremiah chapter 6 and verse 2

[00:23:39] I have likened the daughter of Zion to a calmly and delicate woman

[00:23:46] Jesus Christ with the law of the Scriptures

[00:23:49] Represents his people Israel the daughter of Zion as a calmly and delicate woman

[00:23:56] When they are faithful to him

[00:23:59] The Bible reads in the book of Isaiah chapter 1 and verses 8 and 21

[00:24:05] And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard

[00:24:10] As the lodge in the garden of cucumbers

[00:24:13] As a besieged city

[00:24:16] How is the faithful city becoming harlots?

[00:24:21] It was full of judgment

[00:24:23] Righteousness lodged in it

[00:24:25] But now murderers

[00:24:28] Listeners, Christ represents his people

[00:24:33] The daughter of Zion as a harlot and impure woman when they are unfaithful to him

[00:24:42] This symbolism has been carried from the Old Testament to the New Testament

[00:24:47] So that we can clearly understand what Jesus is showing us

[00:24:51] And how we are to understand his message

[00:24:54] As taught by faithful Protestants for centuries

[00:24:59] The symbol of a mother called Babylon in the book of Revelation

[00:25:03] In the book of Revelation is used to represent the Roman Catholic Church

[00:25:08] Which has become unfaithful to God

[00:25:11] And has bred religious bodies which are rebellious against God and impure

[00:25:18] The great sin charged against Babylon is that she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication

[00:25:26] This cup of intoxication

[00:25:29] Which she presents to the world represents the false doctrines that she has accepted as the result of her unlawful connection with the great ones of the earth

[00:25:41] Friendship with the world corrupts her faith

[00:25:44] And in her turn she exerts a corrupting influence upon the world by teaching doctrines which are opposed to the plainest statements of Holy Rit

[00:25:54] Let us now give some real historical facts to prove that what God has said in his word about the Roman Catholic Church is true

[00:26:07] Most of the governments and family structures in the Christian world are now socialists

[00:26:12] How has this come about?

[00:26:15] The Communist Manifesta was written by a man called Adam Weishaupt

[00:26:20] Adam Weishaupt was the Jesuit priest

[00:26:23] The Jesuits are a religious order of the Roman Catholic Church

[00:26:28] The following quotes are from a book called The Illuminati 666

[00:26:33] Adam Weishaupt was born a Jew converted to Catholicism

[00:26:39] Then turned to witchcraft where he became an expert and founder of another sect of the Illuminati

[00:26:46] This sect was founded on May 1st, 1776

[00:26:50] Like Freemasonry the Illuminati is a Luciferan movement to preserve and promote the ancient black arts of Babylonian and Druid witchcraft

[00:27:01] The plan of Weishaupt's world revolution they hoped to produce was

[00:27:07] 1. The abolition of all ordered governments

[00:27:10] 2. The abolition of private property

[00:27:13] 3. The abolition of all inheritance

[00:27:15] 4. The abolition of patriotism

[00:27:19] 5. The abolition of all religion

[00:27:22] 6. The abolition of the family

[00:27:26] and 7. The creation of world government

[00:27:30] To spread his order and give the Illuminati higher influence in the world

[00:27:35] and because Freemasonry is akin to Illuminism Weishaupt connected with the Masonic institution

[00:27:41] It was initiated in 1777 into Freemasonry in a lodge at Munich

[00:27:49] Adam Weishaupt and Baron von Nigg

[00:27:53] Von Nigg was master of most secret societies in his day

[00:27:57] They planned the world takeover by using the fraternal order of Freemasonry

[00:28:02] Their plan was to penetrate into the high levels of the order

[00:28:06] Then take control and direct in the affairs of the nations into an eventual one world government

[00:28:13] See the Illuminati 666 pages 173,177,178,186 and 193 by William Josiah Sutton

[00:28:26] You can also read a book called World Revolution by an author called Nester Webster

[00:28:31] This book also explains how from Adam Weishaupt's teachings the social revolutionary movements have come into our world today

[00:28:41] And so we see that from a corrupt church, the Roman Catholic Church has come a socialist world revolution

[00:28:49] Part of this socialist plan has been to abolish the family unit

[00:28:54] The teachings of most of the churches in our time do not come from the Bible listeners

[00:29:00] but from the ideas that they have received from a corrupt socialist state

[00:29:05] Like free love, evolution, same-sex marriage, women's empowerment, the legislation of abortion and sodomy

[00:29:14] and equal rights different from God's order

[00:29:17] Religious faith appears so confused and discordant that the people know not what to believe is truth

[00:29:25] The sin of the world's impenitence lies at the door of the church

[00:29:31] Here is why the family unit has become broken up in so many homes

[00:29:39] Now what is God's plan to restore the family unit?

[00:29:43] We read the book of Revelation chapter 14 and verses 6 to 7

[00:29:48] And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven

[00:29:52] Having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth

[00:29:57] And to every nation and kindred and tongue and people

[00:30:03] Saying with a loud voice, fear God and give glory to him

[00:30:08] For the hour of his judgment is calm

[00:30:11] And worship him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters

[00:30:18] We read the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12 and verses 13 to 14

[00:30:24] Let us say the conclusion of the whole matter

[00:30:28] Fear God and keep his commandments

[00:30:31] For this is the whole duty of man

[00:30:34] For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing

[00:30:39] Whether it be good or whether it be evil

[00:30:42] The creator of heaven and earth and the sea and fountains of waters

[00:30:48] Jesus Christ who sees how his church has become corrupt

[00:30:53] In his mercy is sending a message

[00:30:56] Calling every person who dwells upon this earth

[00:30:59] In every nation who speaks every language

[00:31:02] Who is among every people to fear him

[00:31:06] To fear God is to keep his commandments as given in his word

[00:31:11] God wills us to fear him as he shall bring every work into judgment

[00:31:16] With every secret thing

[00:31:18] Whether it be good or whether it be evil

[00:31:22] Listeners, we are all going to be held accountable to God for how we live

[00:31:28] The question is listeners, especially to those who know the Bible

[00:31:33] Are we working with God to restore the family unit?

[00:31:37] Are we working with God as fathers, mothers and children

[00:31:42] To receive his love and to fulfill our roles in the family as God has ordained

[00:31:49] Or are we rebelling against God and sinning

[00:31:53] Living by the order of the social estate that has been set up by Satanic government

[00:32:01] We read in the book of Revelation chapter 12 and verse 17

[00:32:04] And the dragon was rough with the woman

[00:32:08] And went to make war with the remnant of her seed

[00:32:11] Which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

[00:32:16] Here the Bible explains the situation of this earth at its present time today

[00:32:22] The dragon, who is symbolic of Satan

[00:32:25] See Revelation chapter 12 and verse 9

[00:32:28] The dragon is rough or angry with the pure woman as pictured in verses 1-2 of the same chapter

[00:32:35] This woman is symbolic of God's faithful church

[00:32:39] To keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus

[00:32:43] So the battle today is all about resisting the Satanic powers

[00:32:49] Who are seeking to destroy all who are obedient to God

[00:32:52] And who keep his commandments

[00:32:54] All who are working to keep their families in God's order

[00:32:58] By his grace will have the devil and his associates to face

[00:33:02] Invisibly or visibly through corrupt church members and corrupt leaders of the state

[00:33:10] So what can we do to restore the family unit as individuals today?

[00:33:18] Listeners, the most fitting way to end this series of radio broadcasts

[00:33:23] Is to give practical testimonies of how Christ has eternal power

[00:33:27] To change the lives of repentant sinners

[00:33:30] This is because some people may feel or believe that all we are talking about is ideals

[00:33:37] And they may feel that in the real world things are not as simple

[00:33:41] But the fact of the matter is that to have the faith of Jesus Christ is simple

[00:33:48] One has to simply put their trust in God's Word and plan for their life

[00:33:54] And to let Him live by his spirit within them

[00:33:59] The problem is that so few are willing to humble themselves

[00:34:05] And to let go of their own ideas

[00:34:07] And to separate from their worldly friends and influences

[00:34:11] And so few are willing to be born again completely in Jesus

[00:34:18] We read in the book of 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 17

[00:34:22] Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature

[00:34:27] All things are passed away

[00:34:29] Behold, all things are become new

[00:34:35] This is not a fantasy listeners but a living reality

[00:34:40] I, your presenter, can testify of this by God's grace for myself

[00:34:46] If any man be in Christ, he is positive a new creature

[00:34:52] He is recreated in all areas of his life by a supernatural power

[00:34:58] The restoration of the family unit comes this way

[00:35:03] We will now share testimonies of how individual lives have been restored from utter brokenness

[00:35:09] To soundness, completeness and happiness once again in Jesus

[00:35:15] Ask God for deliverance, deliverance is yours

[00:35:22] Ask God for victory, victory is yours

[00:35:26] Ask God for joy, joy is yours

[00:35:30] Ask God for peace, peace is yours

[00:35:34] Ask God for deliverance from your past, deliverance is yours

[00:35:39] You know, I am so strong on the Lord

[00:35:44] I've seen the Lord do so much with so little for so long

[00:35:49] That I am convinced that God can do anything with nothing

[00:35:52] If you give your life to him

[00:35:55] If you give him what he needs, what he wants and all he wants is you

[00:36:01] I had a fellow come to my church, wanted to serve the Lord

[00:36:06] Hooked on smoke, smoking three packs of cigarettes a day

[00:36:12] I don't even know how many cigarettes are in a pack, 20? 21? How many?

[00:36:15] He's smoking 60 cigarettes a day

[00:36:17] Through the power of God, he put the cigarette pack down

[00:36:22] Took a hole in Jesus, became a deacon in the church, became an elder

[00:36:28] Preached a meeting, baptized 20 people, led 20 people to the Lord

[00:36:33] Put down the smoke, picked up Jesus

[00:36:37] I had a young lady come to my church

[00:36:41] She was a prostitute

[00:36:45] A crack smoker and a heroin addict

[00:36:52] She was down to about 100 pounds

[00:36:56] She looked like walking death, but she got a hold of Jesus

[00:37:04] Or better yet, Jesus got a hold of her

[00:37:10] She stood up in prayer meeting and she said, I'm 24 years of age

[00:37:17] And I've slept with 5,000 men

[00:37:20] And my church did just what you're doing

[00:37:24] She said, but I'm new in Christ

[00:37:31] She gave up crack, she gave up heroin

[00:37:37] She did

[00:37:39] I tell you what Jesus did for her

[00:37:42] She began studying with a fellow that she knew

[00:37:49] She led him to the Lord

[00:37:52] I baptized him

[00:37:54] I baptized them both

[00:37:58] She went from 100 pounds

[00:38:04] She put on a lot of weight

[00:38:06] Eating vegetarian food

[00:38:08] Went up to about 140

[00:38:11] Got pregnant

[00:38:13] I blessed their first child

[00:38:16] Mm-hmm

[00:38:17] Bless their second child

[00:38:20] Bless their third child

[00:38:22] I blessed their fourth child

[00:38:25] And she was pregnant when I left New York

[00:38:30] Five

[00:38:33] She put on weight

[00:38:34] She got a husband

[00:38:35] She got five children

[00:38:37] And she got Jesus

[00:38:39] Huh?

[00:38:40] Doesn't matter what your past is

[00:38:42] Doesn't matter what you've done

[00:38:44] Doesn't matter how long you did it

[00:38:46] When you come to the Lord

[00:38:48] Sin has no hold over you anymore

[00:38:52] Your past gets washed in the blood of Christ

[00:38:54] And all you've got is a bright and glorious future

[00:38:58] And you can have it right now

[00:39:06] I remember a time in my life that I experienced such pain, brokenness and betrayal

[00:39:12] I wondered how can someone experience such pain?

[00:39:15] How can the heart feel such brokenness

[00:39:17] And go on with life as though nothing happened?

[00:39:20] Why do some people hurt others?

[00:39:23] This question's raised through my mind

[00:39:25] How my heart ached to be healed?

[00:39:28] I think more often than not as human beings

[00:39:30] We go through life with incredible scars of pain, brokenness and emptiness

[00:39:35] And we wonder why such suffering and pain?

[00:39:38] Why such emptiness?

[00:39:40] Will the scars we experience remain forever?

[00:39:56] In a world where pain, betrayal and going through life with emotional scars seems to be what's normal

[00:40:02] The one fundamental question that often goes through our minds

[00:40:05] Is God able to heal the scars we experience?

[00:40:10] At least it did in my mind when I experienced pain, brokenness and betrayal

[00:40:14] Through this journey in quest for healing

[00:40:17] I discovered several things from a book that has inspired, challenged and transformed my life

[00:40:22] It's the Bible

[00:40:24] I discovered through this experience how much I needed to find answers to my questions

[00:40:29] And the Bible was the only book that began to give me peace as I searched for answers

[00:40:35] So what exactly did God do?

[00:40:44] He gave me this idea

[00:40:46] Come talk to me like you're going to a counselor for counseling sessions every day

[00:40:50] Just sit and talk to me about your pain, what you're thinking

[00:40:53] Tell me everything

[00:40:55] And every day I would call it my therapy sessions with God

[00:40:58] I would sit and tell God everything I was thinking and feeling about the situation

[00:41:03] For as long as I just needed to talk

[00:41:06] These words resonated deeply

[00:41:08] Trust in Him at all times you people

[00:41:11] You're the one who's heard before Him

[00:41:13] God is a refuge for us, Seyla

[00:41:16] I also came across a book compilation called Mind, Character and Personality

[00:41:20] I would pick up certain chapters that drew my attention and read from the book

[00:41:24] What's so amazing is that as I was pouring out my heart to God

[00:41:28] He was renewing my mind

[00:41:30] And today science shows

[00:41:32] That when we stop feeding the nerve pathway of whatever experience

[00:41:36] Addiction or habit

[00:41:38] You are starving that particular nerve pathway

[00:41:41] And at the same time the pathway dies because you stopped feeding it

[00:41:45] By changing and creating new nerve pathways

[00:41:52] In my case as I was surrendering my emotional pain to God

[00:41:56] He was renewing my mind

[00:41:58] And soon one day I had the memory of the experience without the emotional or mental pain

[00:42:03] Does God heal our pain or hurt?

[00:42:06] Are resounding yes?

[00:42:08] Does it happen immediately?

[00:42:10] No, sometimes it takes a while

[00:42:13] It may be weeks, months or even years

[00:42:15] But God heals our scars

[00:42:17] One thing remains for sure

[00:42:19] Through the process of healing the scars

[00:42:22] God passes through every experience we go through

[00:42:25] And experiences with us the pain

[00:42:28] Here's a promise I found from that book called the Bible

[00:42:31] Isaiah 63 verse 9 says

[00:42:34] In all our affliction He was afflicted

[00:42:37] And the angel of His presence saved them

[00:42:40] In His love and in His pity He redeemed them

[00:42:42] And He bore them and carried them all the days of old

[00:42:52] How does God experience the pain and suffering that we go through?

[00:42:56] How does He heal the scars?

[00:42:58] According to the book, the Bible

[00:43:01] God sent His son Jesus to come to earth

[00:43:04] To identify Himself with humanity's frailties

[00:43:07] Everything we will ever experience or have gone through

[00:43:10] Jesus has experienced

[00:43:12] And He can offer this promise with assurance

[00:43:15] Because He has walked in our moccasins as it were

[00:43:18] He promises to take our pain or hurt

[00:43:21] And make something beautiful out of the scars

[00:43:24] Isaiah 61 verse 3 says

[00:43:26] To appoint unto them that morning Zion

[00:43:29] To give unto them beautiful ashes

[00:43:32] The oil of joy for mourning

[00:43:34] The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

[00:43:39] Remember how science shows how new pathways are created

[00:43:42] As we surrender the old nerve pathways?

[00:43:45] This is a story of a day

[00:43:47] When for time and eternity

[00:43:48] The greatest exchange took place

[00:43:51] On a hill called Golgotha

[00:43:53] Through the man who changed the course of history

[00:43:56] For humanity's eternal good

[00:43:58] Isaiah 53 verse 5 says

[00:44:01] But he was wounded for our transgressions

[00:44:04] He was bruised for our inequities

[00:44:06] The chastisement of our peace was upon him

[00:44:09] And by his stripes we are healed

[00:44:12] So what three dynamic lessons did I learn

[00:44:17] And continue to find comfort and healing in today?

[00:44:20] First thing, God does not afflict

[00:44:23] Second, God makes beauty out of ashes

[00:44:26] And the scars that we experience

[00:44:28] And third, God promises

[00:44:30] That soon there will come a time

[00:44:32] When there shall be no more pain

[00:44:34] Our scars will be forever gone

[00:44:36] And never come to mind

[00:44:38] God does not put a bandaid over our pain or hurt

[00:44:41] He actually heals the pain and hurt

[00:44:44] Now and in the future for eternity

[00:44:47] Revelation 21 verse 4 says

[00:44:49] And God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes

[00:44:52] And there shall be no more death

[00:44:54] Neither sorrow nor crying

[00:44:56] Neither shall there come any more pain

[00:44:59] For the form of things have passed away

[00:45:01] In eternity to come

[00:45:03] There is one person who will forever bear my scars

[00:45:06] Our scars

[00:45:08] Jesus

[00:45:10] Zechariah 13 verse 6 says

[00:45:12] And one will say unto him

[00:45:14] What are these wounds between your hands?

[00:45:16] Then he will open his eyes

[00:45:18] The answer

[00:45:20] Those with which I was wounded

[00:45:22] In the house of my friends

[00:45:23] And for all this moment God has healed me

[00:45:51] Listeners, please hear me now

[00:45:55] Family religion

[00:45:57] Family holiness

[00:45:59] Is now to be honoured as never before

[00:46:02] Fathers and mothers

[00:46:05] Who made God first in their households

[00:46:08] Who taught their children

[00:46:11] That the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom

[00:46:14] Glorify God before angels

[00:46:15] before angels and before men, by presenting to the world a well-ordered, well-disciplined

[00:46:24] family. A family that love and obey God instead of rebelling against Him. Christ is not a

[00:46:36] stranger in their homes. His name is a household name revered and glorified. Angels delight

[00:46:47] in a home where God reigns supreme and the children are taught to reverence religion,

[00:46:54] the Bible and their Creator. Such families can claim the promise,

[00:47:01] Zem that honour me I will honour. As from such a home the Father goes forth to his daily duties,

[00:47:12] it is with a spirit softened and subdued by conversive God. The presence of Christ alone

[00:47:23] can make men and women happy. All the common waters of life, Christ can turn into the wine of heaven.

[00:47:32] The home then becomes as an Eden of bliss, the family a beautiful symbol of the family in

[00:47:41] heaven. No matter how broken our homes may be, you have heard people's testimonies, it is a live-in

[00:47:51] reality that our homes can be restored again to be an Eden of bliss. The question is,

[00:48:01] will we allow God to do this? Let us give our hearts to Jesus Christ before it is too late

[00:48:10] to be saved by him. So let us pray to close our series of meetings.

[00:48:21] Heavenly Father, Lord, I thank you Lord for these series of meetings about manhood,

[00:48:29] womanhood, childhood and the family unit. I pray that each and every person who have listened to

[00:48:39] either one or all four episodes that they would look to see where each part especially relates to them.

[00:48:50] Lord, and whether we be men or women or children, I pray that you will realise that it is your

[00:48:58] purpose for us to submit ourselves to your Word and to your purpose for us which is for us to

[00:49:05] be filled with your love and to reflect your glory, your glory, your goodness, your love and power,

[00:49:14] your justice, your mercy and all the attributes, Lord, that you desire to fill us with.

[00:49:22] Lord, as you've heard, there's nothing too hard for you to do. It doesn't matter whatever situation

[00:49:30] that we're in, whatever we've done, how broken we are as individuals or family unit. Lord, you died

[00:49:40] to give the human family power to be restored. And so Lord, I lift you up this evening

[00:49:46] as our Creator and Redeemer and Savior and as our all conquering King. You destroyed the power of

[00:49:56] Satan at the cross and now have the right to save human beings from sin. Help us to realise that we

[00:50:06] only live because of the sacrifice, Lord, that you've made for us. And I pray, Lord, that as you have

[00:50:14] honoured us by giving your life to us that we would honour you in return and that we would

[00:50:21] do all that you ask us to knowing, Lord, that whatsoever we ask from you, we receive from you

[00:50:30] if we keep your commandments and do those things that are pleasing in thy sight.

[00:50:35] And so Lord, I pray for all our homes that where there may be division,

[00:50:42] that there'll be unity and love, that where there's war, that there may be peace.

[00:50:47] Lord, and I pray that each and every one of us from this day forward will go forward in you,

[00:50:56] realising that in you nothing is impossible. And so Lord, we thank you for your word and

[00:51:03] for giving us life and giving us the chance to be saved is our prayer. In the name of our Lord Jesus

[00:51:10] Christ, amen. Listeners, if you have any questions or if you would like more information,
